    Noise Marine kit possibilities

Mmhhmm... The Death Guard are a good example - I have a small force (originally just a Kill Team, but it's been growing annoyingly). And... I have this huge love/hate relationship with their aesthetic, but a lot of the kits have so many options that I'm able to just use the bits that I love and...

    Noise Marine kit possibilities

I'd also prefer a mix of all three looks (metal, baroque, cenobite), and think that all three work pretty well in concert. The mix is probably my favourite thing about certain Noise Marine art pieces; and I think the whole would be lesser for the absence of any single motif.

Article Discussion | Chaos Space Marine 10th Edition Codex Sunday Preview - Analysis and Implications for the Emperor's Children

Codex has mostly leaked - 'twas the Exalted Champion who got the axe. Not entirely sure on which detachment best suits Emperor's Children. Maybe Dread Talons, for all the Battleshock stuff (which Noise Marines will presumably still force), though it seems generally the weakest. Honestly, while...

Article Discussion | Chaos Space Marine 10th Edition Codex Sunday Preview - Analysis and Implications for the Emperor's Children

To follow up on this, I've seen a leak of a CSM stratagem that excludes Titanic units. As the Khorne Lord of Skulls is the only Titantic unit in the Index, it's definitely still in the Codex. (Of course, now that leaks have started we'll probably know very soon anyway, so no use speculating...

What to do with "The Noise Marine"

We faithful are all familiar with the 2019 Noise Marine model, a loving update of the original 1991 Noise Marine. Some background: in 1988's Realms of Chaos: Slaves to Darkness, the concept of Noise Marines didn't exist. The Emperor's Children were already all about sensation, but that hadn't...

    Noise Marine kit possibilities

Awhile back I wrote out some thoughts on B&C about what could be in a new Noise Marine kit. To do this I looked at the other Cult Troops, as well as the basic Chaos Space Marine (Legionaries) kit, to get a sense of what was physically possibly. Now, Noise Marines have always been pretty...

    More Valrak rumours

I guess a litmus test would be if World Eaters got Red Butchers, and they were in Indomitus pattern TDA. (The MkV of TDA... though often crossing over into MkVI itself...) Though Khorne Berzerkers are mostly in MkV, they have so much scavenged bits-and-bobs and modifications that it doesn't...

Article Discussion | Chaos Space Marine 10th Edition Codex Sunday Preview - Analysis and Implications for the Emperor's Children

Another possibility that popped into my mind, in so far as the "lost datasheet" goes, would be the Khorne Lord of Skulls moving entirely to World Eaters. (That would definitely irk a number of people, to the point where I wouldn't do it were I a dev. But it is something I can conceive of as...

    More Valrak rumours

I don't think that was a purposeful choice (or at least not in that way). To me it seems more natural for that to have been a design decision to keep the look of the factions unified. Plague Marines are known for MkIII power armour, therefore "Plague Marine Terminators" make the most sense in...
