Took me a while to get around to this, but here we are! Honestly thought the first of these would be weeks after after forum launch, so much to see already even with one a few folks in, essentially, pre-launch!

Seeing a few visual bugs (tags not wrapping, quote box padding making it hard to read) on mobile and a few typos / grammar. Will have a tidy up shortly.

It's amazing how quickly things are moving. I already have a backlog to read in the lore section.
Only fair after you added to my mental project backlog from that painting log!

Agree though, big wave of content from an initial small start, must have been some pent up! Certainly will slow a bit, but expect over time will fill / even out. Forums will never be fast moving, I expect it will slow down to some article discussion and a few dedicated old hats adding to resources for a bit.

Offering a site based blogging service with forums as the discussions / comms piece, like enhanced project logs, might be a good tool though, will see.

When there are minis and rules and umpteen people searching for starting advice, whole different game. Hope to have enough ready and waiting for them. A dedicated tactics section and someone who knows the competitive side inside and out is massive for the community then.

I'd say the praise goes the other way in this case. Far earlier than otherwise expected all I'm doing there was highlighting and curating. Much easier than doing it all myself!

haha, expect it will be a slow burn. Certainly forums don't see the activity of old, but then they suit that trickling of posts as well. Doesn't take too many active folks to make them feel whole either if the different subforums are in check.

Content and usefulness needs to speak for itself and all should flow on from that, just a long burn to get a lot of the long-form stuff populated but then as a payoff the body of accessible resources just keeps growing.

Happy generally just to see how many EC folk there are around now. Early 2000s it seems a much smaller crowd.

And wait till the release. I bet we are going to see an explosion and huge influx of new fans. Specially if the minis rock.
