(It's not actually specific to eyes barring one small bit that can be extrapolated to general use.)

The most amazing thing being that it's 20 minutes without paint or a brush.

Saw a post on Reddit about a book by this fellow, and after looking it up, I'd replied to the thread saying it looked interesting but I'd never heard of the guy. Got given a link to this in reply, saying it showed his teaching style. Very worthwhile watch, for me at least.

Wow, what a class! Makes me want to go back to the painting table and try some stuff.

I'll need to get time to watch the full. Thing bit that was out of left field. Such a genuine bloke and story, great listen! I have a couple of things from him bookmarked in my viewing / reading story, I think around a reddit thread asking why he stopped posting.

How he articulated that feeling we all have had when painting, coparsion the thief of joy and all that, how he was so dismissive at even the thoyht of being in the same breath as other top psinters and to hear how genuine kindness and enthusiasm got him there, what the daemon meant to him. Just great.

There's a similar story about Golgotha, the mini that near broke one of the top painters back in the day. I never knew the story behind it but anyone in the hobby at the time would know his work. When someone us so iconic you know the artist by tye pieces its pretty special. A bit like we all know Blanche by sight.

I always wished / aspired to be part of the GD level painting community (being I'm Aus now ablbd the Melb GD hasnt occured for like 15 years, less of that in GW now, hoping to attend ARC some year though with a decent entry). Seems a lot know each other. Even 25 years on I still don't have the time or skill, and the bar is so much higher.
