Salutes, dear hedonites! Today I just wanted to recommend a little Netflix anime I saw yesterday, which pleased me enormously: Mononoke (Not Princess Mononoke). It shows the hunt of a ghost tormenting the Ooku, or shogun´s harem in the Edo period. The animation is exquisite, with excessive (truly, it is almost too much) colour, some scenes and angles pass too fast, giving a chaotic and almost dream-like feeling to first half of the plot, it kinda felt the kind of film a noise marine would appreciate. The Ooku is pure luxury, obscenely richly ornamented, and its inhabitants are majestic and wrong, like the maids whose face appears as a swirly shadow, the Goddess priest and his singing daughters, the ghost hunter himself... It all is wonderfully slaaneshi In my humble opinion, from the characters to the ambience, and the plot itself has enough warp-fuckery to remind of some 40K scenes (particularly reminds me of the Haunted house novel in Gaunt´s ghosts). Truly, I cannot recommend this enough, it was a feast for the eyes, pure sensory overload, like watching medieval Japan on acid. The animation also kinda resembles classical japanese art, so it feels very unique compared to other animations. If you have Netflix you can watch it right now, and it´s totally worth it!

I watched it following your recommendation and it blew my mind! Thank you, I have loved it and, as you say, it fits She Who Thirsts so much! And the best thing is that they are going to release more parts!
