If you have any feedback on the site or the forums then please let me know here.

I'm old and ugly enough that I can take pretty blunt criticism, so have at it!

This can cover anything, as an illustration perhaps along the lines of the following:
  • Formatting / display
  • Bugs
  • Article / content feedback
  • Feature requests
  • Site / forum function queries
  • Criticisms
  • Complaints
  • Compliments (dare I hope?)
Really though, any thoughts or feedback at all would be useful to ensure things are on the right track.

So far I love everything! Just one suggestion, to implement dark/night mode on the main site. Would be lovely, if possible :) Apart from that, condragulations on this place, it is everything I could have dreamt of!

Looking good so far, though I'll admit I've not yet figured out how to embed pictures properly, though I'm fairly sure that's a me issue, not a site problem.

Yep, dark mode for the main site is on the list. I tried to get it setup to match the forum theme but it was proving a pain.

I didn't want to over promise and under deliver, but at the risk of doing so I think I'll start a roadmap / planning thread here to keep track of things.

Forum guides are on the list too. There is one already for uploading images so you have your own personal; / permanent album without having to go off site. For external images though BB code is used for linking [ img]example.com/jpg[/url] without the gap in the first [ img] brocket. Also see here:

The above a works for gallery images so there is no border.

For desktop images you can just drag and drop but better to use the Media Gallery if you have the pics already on your desktop.

Nice, glad to see things working!

I'm that old fashioned when I thought to look to a forum I tried to find vbulletin which hasn't been a leading solution in that space for... some time. Xenforo seemed to be the modern equivalent, it's certainly pretty slick to set up and has a lot of great baked in features.

More traditional styling than some of the other modern solutions but I prefer it to big icons / pictures and a lot of white space, that suits social media and blogs / sites more. (can theme / modify this to them same look though).

Anyway feel free to ping me here if and when something breaks or thee are thoughts on content / approach. Early days yet but hoped to kick off with a decent environment.

I used to hang round a soccer forum about 8-10 years ago, I remember it being a big deal moving from Vbulletin to Xenforo. It was iirc, quite the upgrade for both users and the staff.
