The title notes 'rules', however the is really only one rule.
"Don't be a dick"
In Warhammer terms more like "Don't be that guy".
There will not be a heavy handed approach to moderation here. Even making this post is something of an anathema to the philosophy, but clarity is a kindness in and of itself.
With that said, the site and forums have a purpose so we should largely adhere to that. NSFW (not safe for work - either through nudity, explicit content, violence etc.) is not banned but should be artistic and relate to the hobby.
A few nipples on a daemon, a noise marine with a crude crotch gun, some reference photo from a horror movie or even a discussion on explicit content in some for of media. These types of things are not going to see the fun police come down on you, even if something is not to everyone's taste.
By way of example at the extreme end - there will not be out and out pornography thread in off-topic or depictions of actual (real) dismemberment or the like. Essentially if it's something you wouldn't likely discuss or show in an open forum in person with other community members then it's probably not right for here. No judgement, whatever floats your boat, there are just much better places for anything along that vein.
Hopefully this is the only post needed. There will always be the odd dramatis personae causing interpersonal issues as with every community, and sometimes people just don't get along, but the one rule stands and therefore we shouldn't want to, or need to, enforce a raft of restrictions just because a small number don't follow it.
I'm stating this all as an expectation / figurehead, and hope it matches up to what everyone would expect, but just because I put the site and forums out there doesn't make me some all powerful dictator. First and foremost I'm a community member who enjoys all things Slaanesh, just like all of you.
Being the one who put it together does mean I am lumped with the responsibility of trying to keep things on track and enjoyable for everyone though, given I have access to the tools to do so. I'm hoping they largely aren't needed!
