Great review! Really summarized a lot of problems I had with both the codex and the narrative direction GW's gone with Emperor's Children (and the lack of acknowledgment of their adjacent warbands) lately. Then again, I guess it's kinda always been like that

I have finally read this novel and, truth be told, I loved it! It had some interesting character develoment, pursue of perfection, and some really sensual descriptions. Perhaps not a perfect book, but I enjoyed it, specially after being so ready to dislike it
