With the members of the Third legion and their allies spread through out swathes of books it can at times be quite a task to hunt down the descriptions of them, be it for art, conversions/kitbashes, lore discussions or any number of things. As such my hope with this thread is to make things a bit easier for fellow fans of the legion looking for such details.
This thread shall cover the The Forces of Sublime under the command of the immortal Count Mordrac.
Count Mordrac of castle sublime, Castelan of Sublime-
He was clad in baroque armour that seemed to shift and warp by the moment, sometimes resembling the armour of a space marine sometimes the armour resembled the armor of a medieval knight, colours slid like water across its surface and faces as well, Leering, weeping, laughing and constantly moving as if jostling for space. He wields a spiked mace which crackled with hellish energy. A sword was sheathed at his hip, when drawn the sword was limbed with light.

Mordac’s Steed-
His steed was equally monstrous. Its resemblance to a horse was superficial, oily flesh clung to cybernetics like tar and its mane was a shaggy tangle of sparking wires and loose implant plugs. Pistons and pumps could be seen on it. Its tail was a lashing whip of steel blades, and its teeth were shards of hot metal. Its hooves could be heard from a distance as it galloped
Mordrac’s soldiers-
Made up of humans, xenos and astartes with armour scrubbed clean.
Sublime chaos spawn-
Red armour with a burning sigil and etched words was imbedded in its iridescent skin. It developed a second mouth and inflated stomach. Heavily implied to have once been a Word Bearer.
Sublime races cited- Rakgul, cythor, humans, loxatyl, eldar corsairs, kabalites, and hrud.
