With the members of the Third legion and their allies spread through out swathes of books it can at times be quite a task to hunt down the descriptions of them, be it for art, conversions/kitbashes, lore discussions or any number of things. As such my hope with this thread is to make things a bit easier for fellow fans of the legion looking for such details.

This thread shall cover the loyalist Shattered Legions force of Sergeant Avram Rakomon.

Sergeant Avram Rakomon, The last of the third- Loyalist emperors children, sent away by Fabius to isolate from a potential spread of the blight. The sword’s blade in his hand crackled with energy and illuminated the hatred in his features as he swung it before him in a perfunctory salute.

Rakomon started to respond with his next strike, but Eidolon used it to issue a devastating riposte. The hammer caught Rakomon full in the chest with the force of a meteor impact and silenced him forever. The sergeant’s body blasted backwards and crashed to the ground, a great rent apparent in the armour’s chestplate, sundering the Emperor’s aquila in two. Eidolon prised his fingers into the crack and pulled. In a feat of incredible power, he broke the compromised chestplate apart. Then, unconcerned with other damage he might cause to himself or to the body, he dug his fingers into the sergeant’s flesh, through the black carapace, and punched the body until he cracked through the fused ribcage. He recognised the valuable progenoid glands, the pure gene-seed, and, unbothered by the gore and viscera coating his hands, reached into the sergeant’s chest cavity and tore them away. He shouted in triumph just as distant engines approached. Loyalist reinforcements. Eidolon took one last look at Sergeant Rakomon and presented him with a scornful salute. But in that act, he saw the sergeant not even as a fellow legionary, but as a puny, ruined, pathetic thing completely unworthy of his attention.

Loyalist forces- The dim light of their surroundings blossomed into staccato flashes of light as the loyalists executed their ambush and mass-reactive shells detonated on the Kakophoni’s armour. He caught glimpses of Iron Hands and Salamanders. The loyalists fell back, regrouped, and re-engaged. A blast from a plasma weapon struck one of the Kakophoni nearest Eidolon. The legionary’s torso boiled away into superheated gas. The Salamander who’d fired turned his attention to Eidolon and prepared to fire again. The loyalists had been defeated and if any were left, they were in retreat. But the battle could not have gone unnoticed, and reinforcements would be inbound from the fortress monastery.
