This is place to list anything and everything EC related. I expect there will be a fair bit of crossover into general 40k resources though (e.g. Warphammer will have great EC content I;m sure, but also a lot of other content.

Links to blogs, communities, guides, key articles etc. whatever would be useful.

I'll have to trawl through my links to get more (particularly curating the hobby section), but will kick a few off.

Once we have a decent body of information I'll have a think about how best to curate it on the website / on here. It'll be some form of static page with links but have to consider how big to go with images and descriptions around them. For hobby blogs especially, given there will likely be a lot of Instagram, blogs etc, to reference a picture and blurb about the author would be useful.

Some form of actual content management system, either the resources expansion for the forum or plug-in for word press site might be worth looking at prior to going heavy on organisation.

Anyway, I'll do the heavy lifting there, for now have at it and list all your EC bookmarks!

Yeah, they're memey and edgelord a lot, but they do have a lot of fun stuff and a super collection of art and memes.

Ha, completely slipped my mind, added in. Keep them coming as you come across them. I expect the visual hobby side, all the instagrams, blogs etc. will end up huge given how widespread they are and with some amazing artists only doing the occasional EC piece.

I'll trawl though my pretty disorganised reference folders and list the best on here soon.

After getting in touch Reddit and discord admins I can finally add links to those communities with worries.

Not something I was going to do without clearing it with them first as I didn't want to step on any toes, especially at the outset. Original idea was to have that in place before anything went live! The goal is to bring together all the disparate resources and communities, not pull apart or look to replace anything (not much an issue with long form articles, there's a gap there, but was a little worried the forums would seem that way, even though they are an entirely different form of interaction.

All good though, fantastic folks on both communities, as you would expect given we're all part of the same fandom. Happy to cross post on each and have She Who Thirsts link and direct folk to them and vice versa.

The other forums I feel it's fine though as they are far, far more varied in their focus (should be no issue there) and, as you'll see in an article shortly, the EC communities are going to feature much more directly than a resources link alone.

Hoping that means in future, should the site take off, folk will be able to easily find all the main communities directly. I didn't even find out about the discord until it was over a hundred users if I recall correctly! More to come on that, I'm still constantly coming out more blogs and links out there.

I will now bring in some of the best community content from both of those in the community spotlights so we can showcase some from more than just on here (this was meant to be a longer term plan with these were added, I was honestly amazed at the content here right after a small soft launch! Able to flesh out a full spotlight article within days).

Through those communities I have already had a couple of folk reach out with other content to be featured as well, so that idea of a curator role rather than just pumping out primary content from my own head is already coming together somewhat.
